Re: Frisian Flag 11-22 April 2016
Hello,
This friday is the last day of FF and I am wondering if the morning session is the same as the previous days.
Will all the participants still be active that day?
Thanks in advance.

A few German Typhoons will return Thursday afternoon to Norvenich, the remaining ones friday morning at the end of the morning mission.
Belgian F16's will return direct to KB friday at the end of the morning mission so will not land at Leeuwarden
This was confirmed by crews, no info from the other units yet

Question out of the category "Rookie-assistant 3rd class": I am planning a trip to EHLW tomorrow. I saw that the wind-forecast is 3 Bf from the north.
Which direction will they depart? To the west and should I go to "Marsum" or to the East and should I go to the other site of the field?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Frisian Flag 11-22 April 2016
Marsum. This is also the best spot. Have fun!!!
Re: Frisian Flag 11-22 April 2016
They will fly 05, so takeoff in easterly direction
Re: Frisian Flag 11-22 April 2016
With northern wind runway 05 is more likely, so take off in direction of Jelsum and landing from direction of Marsum. Same as today.
I agree other around way is better

Are there any specific expectations about supporting transport on Friday (or perhaps tomorrow Thursday) yet?

Hi,
just one small question
Except the local participants from 322. Sq, were all the other RNLAF F-16 from 313. Sq?
J-008 had dual 313/323. Sq markings and J-616 had 313. Sq markings.
But, what about J-014 / 015 / 055 / 512 and 646?
Many thanks in advance!
Greetings
Marcus

Re: Frisian Flag 11-22 April 2016
and with this great Flag-exercise over and done with, I somehow feel I should express a big thanks to everyone involved in making this one of the greatest mil-spottersevents!
In my opinion the new parking set-up went smooth, most spotters behaved well afaik, weather was mostly okay, as always many interesting participants, good spotter-info, so all in all: can't wait for the next one!

I have never drunk milk, and I never will . . . .

Completely agree Polecat! A big thank you for all AGL members that took turns in making it all run smoothly at Marsum. And thanks to Rob A. of the KLu as well of course for his cooperation.

Difficult to say Marcus. The F-16's at Volkel operate from a pool, so AFAIK you cannot tell which squadron it 'belongs' to these days.F17_114PM wrote:Hi,
