Anchorage May 2017 part1 props (photo heavy)

Post by EC »

It has been on my bucket list for some time but this month I did make it to Anchorage.

It was only for 3,5 days and the weather was changeable but here are the propellor machines that I saw:

Northern Cargo no longer operates the DC6, this plane is parked along the entrance road as a kind of gate guard.

As it seems this is from regular spots @ ANC, so I guess just by rental car ;-)

Thanks for the compliments guys :D

This was indeed a self guided tour, buy a ticket, rent a car and you can shoot the same.
The various companies on the side platforms usually give you a tour around their platform if they have some one to spare to escort you, just ask.

Kind regards
EC

Wow, what a great set! Incredible variety of types and colour schemes.

Funny, I saw the below DC-3 in februay 2016 in a much warmer place: Marathon, Floriday Keys. It seems to be getting around a bit!
