Anchorage May 2017 part2 Jets (photo heavy)

Post by EC »

Some more from my 3,5 day stay at Anchorage. Anchorage only has modest passenger traffic. Not surprisingly Alaska airlines is the most frequent, followed by Delta and United.
Local traffic in the form of the Oil operations form Connoco Phillips, Everts air Cargo and NAC.

By far the most traffic is fuelstops by all the asian cargo carriers plus Fedex and UPS on the route from Asia to the US.
If you like jumbo's this is where you need to be. At one time I saw 4 Cathay 747-8 parked next to each other. This being only a fuelstop they are in and out within 2 hours.

Perfect report Eddy. Certainly with the dark clouds in the background make it even further impressive. Good variation as well.
