If I remember correctly, it was Lt Col Jason Heard who saved the TB-display at Fairford july 15th by going airborn to check in person if ther was enough space to perform the display. This man deserves some credits. He saved the day after the Raptor display was cancelled.

That in itself might be a good thing for the show, this also might - to Wing leadership - show bravado that puts a team in danger. I agree that the decision taken during the Farnborough airshow can be considered right and wrong, it depends on the point of view.
