What's Volkel like for photography?

If the set-up is no different from previous editions, quite good. In that case, based on past experiences, public is to the south of the parallel (southern) runway; 90% of the well spaced static and a part of the flightline is located on the parallel runway; some of the static is in or near tents and hangars in the public area (which makes photography -and finding them- a bit of a challenge); some of the flying participants operate from flightlines/shelters on the northern side of the runway. Shots of aircraft on the runway can be made through gaps in the static line-up; in the air the sun would be in your back till late(r) in the afternoon, given the runway orientation (06-24). Some participants in an air power demo (if this will be featured next year) will most likely operate from either Eindhoven (KDC-10, C-130) and/or Gilze-Rijen (helo's).

Hi Guys thanks for recommendations I never got that hotel it was fully booked :(I managed to book a hotel in Uden, the name of hotel is Verhoeven not too far away, have any of u guys stayed there before ?how far from base is this is it walking distance ?

From Uden there is a free bus. I always stay with mates in Uden and we always use the bus. It's easy!
