Re: Chièvres status 21-10-2019
Today @ 1230LT they still were in front of one of the hangars.EvD wrote:Do you know if the single AH-64D and single HH-60M were still in front of one of the hangars?downwind wrote:This afternoon (21-10-2019) rain and dark clouds over Chièvres, so unfortunately no serials.
New arrivals or local flight around 15:15LT were 1x AH-64 and a bit later 1x UH-60 & 1x AH-64.
Around 16:00LT I counted a total of 24x UH-60 & 7x AH-64 on the old X-runway plus 4x CH-47 on the adjacent taxi track.
In that case, all is at Chievres.

Well Luyt, that is difficult to tell.Lordofthedragons wrote:Thanks for the reply!
Anything known about their routing?
Previously, they tended to route via Wiesbaden (or thereabouts - just in case a technical stop would be needed), so that would roughly be following the E42
Also, some went to Poland and took a more north-easterly route, but I think that was taken up after those even stopped at Wiesbaden.
Chievres take-off would be the best bet I guess...
best regards,
Erwin

Some news in the Belgian media
https://www.lesoir.be/255296/article/20 ... n-belgique
Departures scheduled for Friday on the latest, depending on weather forecast. As weather should begin to improve and is expected to be better from tomorrow on, I guess departures will soon take place, probably before Friday.
