NAF Atsugi (RJTA/NJA) 2020 MIL

Atsugi being the base for the TDY C-40/C-130 transports is about to receive a C-40A in the shape of 169036 (VR-61) calling CNV4762, which should replace one of the following C-40As recently noted here,

165833 (VR-59)
168981 (VR-59)

Noted in Japan in recent days have been the following C130Ts,

164994 (VR-53)
165161 (VR-64)

NJA 24th June,

166695 C-40A (VR-56)? arrived today as CNV4982 from PANC, and within 2 hours departed on it's first 7th Fleet mission as CNV7890.

It's thought this will replace 168981 on detachment here.

C-40A 169036 should also still be operating from here. This was last noted as arriving here as CNV7642 on the 19th.

NJA 03rd July,

C-40A 168980 (VR-61) arrived as CNV4481 from the USA.

On Saturday 11th July C-40A 166695 departed back to the USA as CNV4122

C-40A 169792 (VR-51) arrived at Atsugi on the 25th June as CNV4724 and has been operating from here since then.
