Wunstorf 2021

Post by Herby »

After a long and difficult restoring process to flight condition LTG 62 A400M 54+11 was flying for the first time since April 2019. It was noted test flying over the North Sea on 5.1. The aircraft has been filled with wrong hydraulic fluids and was moments away to be a w/o.

Noted here flying on 18.01. were the following A400M of LTG 62:

54+10, 54+11, 54+13, 54+18, 54+30 and 54+34 plus 10 on the ramp.

Making it‘s first visit of type was KC-767A MM62229/14-04 of 14.Stormo, 8.Gruppo.

Also visiting was A.310-304MRTT 10+25 of FBS, C-160D 50+83 of LTG 63 and C-130J MM62178/46-43 of 46aBrigata Aerea, 2.Gruppo.

Overshooting were C-160D 50+40 of LTG 63 and Global 6000 14+07 of FBS (touch and go). Transall 50+40 has to cancel it‘s mission on approach to Wunstorf (!) due to technical problems and returned to Hohn and was replaced later by 50+83.

According to the tracking sites 54+13 (GAF308) has just gone over TLV Westbound, having been downrange since 12th Jan, unless I missed it.
