"Just a nice Picture...!"

Not one, but two 48th FW Liberty Wing Lockheed Martin F-35A flagships arrived, to become part of the 48th Fighter Wing at RAF Lakenheath (UK), like we reported before.

On 16 April 2022, multiple F-35A Lightning IIs were parked on Lakenheath's flightline following the arrival of 19-5493/LN (as 493rd FS flagship) and 19-5495/LN (as 495th FS flagship).

At RAF Lakenheath, the 493rd Fighter Squadron Grim Reapers and 495th Fighter Squadron Valkyries are based.

So far, nine F-35As have been delivered to RAF Lakenheath: 19-5473, 19-5474, 19-5475, 19-5476, 19-5484, 19-5485, 19-5486, 19-5493 and 19-5495.
