1Terminal area

The fourth floor of the terminal offers great views of the ramp and runway, behind glass though.

To the west and east of the terminal, you can look onto the ramps. The fence hampers decent photography though.

2West side approach

Exit the terminal area and go right, clockwise around the airfield on Avenida Senado Carlos Jereissati. This highway abruptly ends after passing the threshold, take the first exit and make a sharp left turn. You will now be driving back on the west side of the highway. Find a spot south of the rail road under pass, on the highway embankment. Not the best of neighbourhoods...

3North west side view

Go back north, take the first major road to the right, this is Aguiles Boris which becomes Rua da Suadade later on, and Avenida Lauro Vieira Chavez after that. This leads to the northern civil airport area. Just before reaching the entrance to that, the houses stop and before the bushes start you can have a view of the 13 threshold. You will need a step ladder though.

4Aeroclube do Ceará

The general aviation terminal should provide ample views of the northern ramp and runway, good for photography later in the afternoon.

5Gate

Exit the northern airport area and go straight. This is a through road called Avenida Luciano Carneiro. It intersects with another major road, Avenida Borges de Melo, go right there. You will now pass the gate. There is an F-80 outside, but you have to go up and down a bit to see the three others parked further into the base, blocked by buildings and trees.

6East side Makro

Go east and make a right onto the highway. Leave it at the second exit, the Makro; it has a large bill board. Alternatively, stay on the parallel road all along. Form the south west side of the parking lot you can watch the approach. The highway lighting posts are a bit of a nuisance though.

7South side foot bridge

Enter highway 116 southbound again and make a left to the airport terminal. You will under pass a foot bridge. From there you have (very) distant views through the trees of the opposite military ramp.
