Annecy - Haute-Savoie Mont Blanc (Meythet)

1Terminal parking lot

From the corner of the parking lot .on the right hand side when facing the terminal, a large part of the ramp is visible.

2General aviation area

From the roundabout in front of the terminal, take the second exit, left when facing the terminal. This road runs past a gate and behind the general aviation area.
Should this gate be close, go back to the D14, go right and right again at the dedicated GA entrance.

3Southwest taxiway

Go back to the D14 and head southwest. At the second roundabout, go right onto the Rue de l'Aerodrome. This leads back to the airport fence. You can get fairly close to the taxiway here.
If the gate to the general aviation area on the terminal side is open, you can follow that road from spot 2 to spot 3 as well. Alternatively, take the dedicated entrance to the general aviation area which is between the main entrance en Rue de l'Aerodrome and make a left turn.

4Southwest side approach - Rue de l'Euro

For approach shots in the morning, go back to the D14 and go right. After passing two roundabouts take the next crossroad to the right. This is the Chemin de la Fruitière. After passing some sports fields and just before you reach a roundabout and the D150b road, go right into a business park. This is the Route de l'Euro. The approach for 04 is straight over this allotment.

5Southwest side approach - p.m.

For afternoon light you have to move more north. Go to the roundabout mentioned at spot 4 and make a right rurn on the D150b. Go right after about 250 metres into the parking lot of a restaurant and go to the far right hand side corner.

6Northeast side approach - P.A. des Longeray

The approach to runway 22 crosses the Voie de Metz main road. To get here from spot 5, stay on the D150b keeping to your right until the D150b bends left. Keep right and follow the Voie de Metz towards Metz. You will be driving along the northwestern side of the airport. Take the exit to the D908b and Annecy and go right. At the roundabout, go left, fourth exit into the Parc des Activities des Longerays. This is were the Campanile hotel-restaurant is. Make a left into a very tine road immediately after you left the roundabout. This runs back along the D908b. You can also go to the far corner of the first parking lot obviously, but you have to relocate later on the day because of the sun.

7Northeast side taxiway

The last spot is along the busy D14 Route de Metz back to the main entrance of the airfield. The road curves around the perimeter from the aforementioned roundabout and in the middle of that bend the fence reclines a bit. From that grassy spot you are near the taxiway to runway 22.
