The National Defence Academy is situated to the southwest of Pune and has a small aerodrome used by the cadet's gliders.
The small airfield is situated in the northeast corner of the NDA complex. The main road leads just past the east of it. On the complex, many preserved aircraft can be found on the parade ground, in front of important buildings and at the shopping centre (a MiG-25 no less...).
Follow the main road leading southwest out of Pune towards the Mumbai-Bangalore bypass. Stay on the northwest bank of the Muthua river. The road is actually called NDA road and leads to Uttam Nagar village and the east side gate (Kondwha gate).
Alternatively, head northwest on the Mumbai-Bangalore by pass and take the exit towards the NDA, it should be signposted. This will bring you to the main gate (Pashan gate).
