1Terminal area
Since you will probably arrive here anyway, we start our tour at the terminal area. Although high walls make viewing a challenge, there are some gaps and small heaps that come in handy for those practicing their hobby. Photography is not permitted here, but since you are on the southern hemisphere, the aircraft will appear back-lit anyway.
2Approach 10 - north side
Although most traffic will try to avoid overflying the town of Cuzco, which is situated west of the airport, we do include spot 2. From the terminal area, head west on Av. Velasco Astete, which leads around the 10 threshold. Parallel to the airport perimeter on the north side, the Via Expresa has two separate lanes. Cross this road and you will find an open place on the other side, from where viewing is ok.
3Approach 28 - north side
Approach 28 is mostly used. From spot 2, follow the Via Expresa almost to the 28 threshold. An open space on the north side of the road provides some good vies. Alternatively, you will reach this spot by heading east from the terminal area, although this road leads through a not too decent neighbourhood that you might want to avoid.
