General

Will Rogers in the biggest civil airport near Oklahoma City. It also houses an Air and Army National Guard unit.

Getting There

The airport is easy to find in the western outskirts of Oklahoma City. I-240 comes from the center of town and joins near the airport with I-44 comming from the south. As almost all international airports it is very well signposted.

Around the Airport

1General Aviation

Meridian Avenue runs behind the general Aviation hangars and from various positions along this road you will have a good view on the ramp with picture possibilities. A bit further away, on the far side, is the FAA ramp, but numbers can be read.

2Terminal

As often at civil airports a glimps of the aircraft can be had through the windows.

354th Street

There is no easy place to pull over for a couple of hours but when you park the car at the terminal and walk back there are several spots to graph and read approaching aircraft.

4Corner 59th/McArthur

At the corner of these streets you have a decent view on the C-130H ramp and also can read some of the aircraft at the Metro Aviation center ramp just accross the street.
