The far the majority of the US Army Black Hawk helicopters is painted in the standard dull green colour scheme. The helicopters used by the 1st USASB AVN CO in the Sinai desert (Egypt) are a major exception. The role of this unit is to provide support to the UN peace keepers in the desert area between Egypt and Israel, which explains the high visibility colours.
