Re: New Zealand AF has ordered T-6C Texan turboprop trainers

Replacing King Airs with T-6! Very interesting, a twin replaced by a single seat trainer. Hardly a similar aircraft or role, so a strange choice. I can understand the order for the T-6 as the RNZAF have nothing like it, but to replace King Airs, is this really the case or are they going to supplemen...

Guess I missed the report from your September outing there :-)
Ah ok. Didn't post a log from my trip, but just wondered why you had written that. No problems!

I'm British and even I knew this. It's a piece of ==censored== and spends most of its time unserviceable, hence the reason for disposal!

The A-7's! Quite incredible that those still fly operationally, it will probably be the last time, at least for me. Do not worry, they will soldier on for another couple of years ... :bday: Are you sure ?! I heard they will be put out of service next November.... Would be nice if I were wrong, but ...

Thanks Everyone exciting times to be living in Mildenhall. I am sure some locals won't be saying that after the TDY of the CV-22's in 2011 the base was inundated with noise complaints  Hopefully the first CV-22's will arrive this week. Dave First two CV-22's due in by Wednesday at latest. Mike

Re: LIMA 2013 Langkawi 26-30 March 2013

re the Jupiter team KT-1's, I can confirm from photo's that -101 is coded 5, -110 is coded 2, -109 is coded 3, -112 is coded 4, 108 is coded 8. Although I do not have photo's I also have 111 as coded 1 and from another photo it looks like code 6 is -103. I still need to confirm an AS.61 that flew in...

Another AS.61 Sea King that visited around mid morning on the 31st and then left soon after, 2 x -130's (one a KC-130 I think) of RMAF that were present late 1st April. One took...
