Weather sucked today, very little good light, no foreign airplanes, hug amount local Vipers....... Only local Vipers (and from Volkel) flew..... no foreign planes spotted yet

Depending on wich side you are you should be able to take some decent landing shots with 200 mm. Taxi shots are a little harder maybe with 200 mm with planes on the other side of the runway...

Was lucky to get a two ship take off with these German F-4's standing at the end of the runway today, too bad they didn't fly in the afternoon

Great pictures and great day it was, must agree, light could be better, to answer geert, I took some today onbase also, use an 70-300 lens, and most shots around 120 and 150 mm

Hmm didn't see the "open" TGP.... funny as some minutes later after some touch and goes the pod was closed.

Maybe this bird spotted us standing their taking pictures, informed the MP's and off they went to catch us

Spend some hours at Spangdahlem and caught some birds...... here are some results.
