Sorry, no more variant information. What do you mean by 'bumpers'? Can it have been the Multi-Purpose Air Intake (MPAI), like in this pictureF17_114PM wrote:Thank you Jos!
Future will tell ...
P.S.: Do you know maybe the exact variant? It had some strange bumpers on top, before the engines.
And onwards to Bahrain on the 24th, and to Muscat on the 25th.F17_114PM wrote:It continued today to Pafos and finally Sharm-el-Sheikh.
The Multi-Purpose Air Intakes filter debris (sand, ice, dust, snow) from the engine inlet air. This debris is jettisoned through the circular tubes that you see to teh sides of the intakes. The square one in front of teh intakes is an air inlet, the purpose of which I do not know (yet).F17_114PM wrote:No, I meant the smaller circular and square bulges under and before the air-intakes. In your picture they are very good to see. Is the forward one, some kind of camera for landing in bad weather situations?
She now has landed in Kuala Lumpur.F17_114PM wrote:Thank you Jos!
