7mar: D328 take-off over KLC E190 at Basel

Tower controller told the KLM crew to "line runway 33 up after the departing Dornier 328" , what the crew read back as "line up for takeoff". A Skyworks D328 was cleared for take-off from the other end of the runway (approx 1300 m from the E190 ) and overflew the E190 departure.

Een vliegtuig van KLM Cityhopper heeft op de luchthaven van Basel bijna een botsing gehad met een ander vliegtuig dat op de startbaan stond. Dat meldt het Noordhollands Dagblad donderdag. Het incident deed zich op 7 maart voor door een fout in de communicatie met de verkeerstoren. Het is nu voor de Franse onderzoeksraad BEA reden om een onderzoek in te stellen.
