Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

A base visit with Onze Luchtmacht resulted in a few nice photo opportunities.

On one of the other platforms sat LX-N90459. This is the first NATO E-3 that has undergone the Final Life Extension Program (FLEP). Eventually ten out of the fourteen remaining E-3's will undergo this modernization program before the E-7's take over between 2030 and 2035.

The Alaska ANG is providing tanker support until the end of this week. They will be followed up by the Hawaiian ANG.

Contrary to other ANG units the Alaska tankers don't carry the name of their operating base in the tailband but names of Alaskan villages. These names are chosen by some sort of commitee as a kind of bonding practise with the ANG.

Hope you like this selection.

I like it, thanks for the pics. Are you sure they will stay for some weeks? I expected this Friday as departure day because normally they stay 2 weeks. Thanks also for your information that Hawaii ANG is planned thereafter.

To be honest I wasn’t really sure when they arrived so you might be right.
After Hawaii it will be the Tennessee ANG to show up.
