Don't think so now. Those off weekends are to cope with the jetleg they'll have after returning home to CONUS, according to the rules that apply to the Thunderbirds (stand down for one day for each hour of time difference they'll experience).peterdv wrote:Thunderbirds schedule

Seems possible ...
About the countries there was an update from RIAT itself:Coati wrote:Not true, pure speculation on the UKAR messageboard, because RIAT announced that three countries have already confurmed, one from the middle east, one from the former Warsaw pact and one western Europe. Thereupon the spaculation started.Kieran wrote:Also worthy of interest, it seems the Romanian Air Force, Royal Air Force of Oman and the Belgiums have confirmed. Presumably the Romanian MiG 21 and Belgium F-16 demos and Omani C-130/A-320?
Which other combination can you make out of that? (Although I admit with you, Coati, nothing was said about actual aircraft)So, although no one picked the exact three countries we were looking for, some entries were tantalisingly close. By telling you some of the responses and how close they were, we hope it will help you make your own choices. So here goes:
* Colin (Poland, Belgium and Jordan), had one correct answer.
* Simon (Jordan, France and Poland) had no correct answers.
* James (Jordan, Greece, Hungary) had no correct answers.
* Robert (Jordan, Netherlands and Romania) had one correct answer.
* Alex (Oman, France and Czech Republic) had one correct answer .
... Belgium, The Netherlands and France (usual participants; likely 2x F-16 and Rafale?)aviodromefriend wrote:Which other combination can you make out of that? (Although I admit with you, Coati, nothing was said about actual aircraft)

Sign of the times I guess...
