The video showing that Ka-52 being struck is mind-boggeling.They never knew what was coming. Explosion, 200 metres onwards the heli hit a farm field, shove on and was reduced to a big exploding fire cloud, *which likely may have ruined someone's house and garden to the full.

That helicopter was an Mi-24 or Mi-35 Hind, not a Ka-52

Happened before. Some time ago Russianplanes.net was out of the air for a while after they had pictures of Il-76s somewhere in South America if I am not mistaken. That was linked to some tricky arms deal or something that the Russians wanted to keep out of the press and Russianplanes disappeared for a while. When it cam back most of the Russian AF planes had no c/n anymore in the overviews...

Another unbelievable piece of info in this article. The article mentions the death of another Russian general today. However, the worst part is that it is about a phone call between two FSB officers, over an open phone line. The reason they use an open phone line? Because:

Grozen reported that Russia’s cryptophones may no longer work in Kharkiv because Russian forces had destroyed surrounding cell phone towers, and Russia’s encrypted comms system operates using 3G or 4G.

Are you kidding me? Anyway, it is all going according to plan...

Recently get some Ukrainan pilots awards. Some of them posthoumsly.

Newly they talked about two aircraft shot down over Kiev.
But suddenly they are placed over Debaltseve (North of) and Donetsk (Volkolva).
And make a mixture of aircraft, dates and places.

And the information comes from "Higher Command", Intelligence, Army Command or Air Force Command.

But we can see Russia are flying around with a lot of aircraft.

I really don't think that the Ukraine General Staff can be considered a reliable independent source free of propaganda. I don't consider it confirmed neither Korrespondent.net who appear to just copy the numbers published by the Ukrainian General Staff.

They (the Russians) are absolutely suffering massive and horrible losses but if US intelligence sources (free of propaganda) estimate the number of casualties between 4000-5000, why should the other figures published by the Ukrainians be reliable. I just think it is highly doubtful that the lost 80 helicopters and 48 aircraft.

When an aircraft or helicopter is shot down there often is footage of the shootdown, the wreckage, the dead or captured crew and the names on the crew is published on their website. No doubt some crashsite cannot be reached by the Ukrainians but the difference between the 20 or so 100% confirmed losses and the 128 reported by the Ukrainian General Staff is just too big in my opinion.

There is not only a war going on with bullets and missiles but also a psychological information war.

FAKE awards for FAKE aces

I assume you don't have to be an ace to be decorated posthoumsly but killed in action might also be a reason. Think the definition for an ace is if you shot down at least five aircraft.

By giving their live I think their awards and the honor that comes with it are more than deserved when someones life is lost in combat, ace or not.
