over a year on, the civil war in Sudan is still raging. source (BBC)
reported this week (again more): "........artillery and air strikes in the greater Khartoum area".

but: No aircraft types mentioned in that report.

current sit. in Sudan: It has got well over 10 million people on the run, homeless, driven away, starving and / or wounded, while food & health aid is scarce, way to few and far between, as "the world" focusses on the ME-theatre (and Ukraine) despite the UN calling out sometimes. Yet, no plans for any mil intervention, not even have plans for int. air food drops been mentioned anywhere. Gaza got some help via sea and air ways as both conflicts were ongoing a the same time, but Sudan got nothing of that sort....

The civil war in Sudan
reportedly last few days saw a or more air strike(s), killing 40 in a market place in Khartoum. No aircraft types mentioned, but the attack was carried out by the national armed forces.

A Russian made cargo aircraft believed to be an Il-76 was shot down by the RSF militant organisation last week in the northern part of Dafur of this war torn country where hunger and destruction is wide-spread.
There was confusion about the type of a/c, and to add to the usual questions,
It seems it was a Sudan registered cargo a/c or any other nation, as its ID was has been changed from time to time
and
that it was off-and-on flying for the benefit of EITHER side of the warring parties.
A standing relation with shady illegal arms running individuals is being mentioned.
