To my knowledge, the 1st ever Warthog visit to Soesterberg took place somewhere in April 1979. They came from the 81st TFW which was based at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge: 77-0230/WR, 77-0232/WR, 77-0235/WR.

This is the only occasion that I've seen an F15A/B/C/D flying with ECM-pod. I am sure someone knows type and make of the ALQ-?? pod onderneath this F15D. Not a perfect photo but it may be rare.
This is from October 1986. And oh, I have a slide of CR007 but it must wait. It is rather dull.
The 27 approach at EHSB sometimes creates a visual illusion causing aircraft coming in high. This C5 already passed 25% of the runway length. Luckily reverse thrust could compensate.
Who knows the logic of giving a C5 European 1 camouflage? It only works at EHSB. Don't know the date of this image, perhaps late 80-ties.
First indication if incoming cargo aircraft was containers assembling at the end of rwy31. This lady, C5 serial 90011, came out of the showers.
Ergo01, please keep posting ones like this. I am quite jealous on this one, I went to Soesterberg that same month but unfortunately not on the day this beauty came along! I never caught a Neuburg F-4 at Soesterberg, usually it were Hopsten and Wittmund F-4's.
