2 of them retired last week and 51 (Tiger c/s) is going to retire in september. They have 11 more, still active with 28Fl at Nimes-Garons.

If I correct the info in the "airshow"-page of Landi, I have to correct the info in this section as well:

F-8E(FN) 29 at the gate REALLY is the 29, and F-8P 11 is the one that's in the disbandment scheme of 12F (1999). I don't know how this switch came about in Scramble's database, but the tie-up mentioned here is confirmed both by the French Navy (see the link in the "airshow"-page) and by the ultimate authority, Jean-Marie Gall of Lela Presse, who used to be a 12F Crouze-pilot. He wrote the "bible" on French Crusaders: "Les Crusader Francais en action" (fortunately, with english photo-captions and a summary of the french text in english). Costs a fortune, but you get 368 pages worth every penny...

That depends on what you call "special". This version is the Nord 262E, equipped with a surveillance radar under the fuselage, whereas the Air Forces Nords were models -A, -AEN or -D and were transports and/or trainers. This version has been used for years by 28F for the same tasks as the Da50SURMAR/POLMAR of 24F: SAR, pollution control and general surveillance of the French Economic Exclusion Zone (12-mile zone). The difference is that they have the (smaller) Mediterranean Sea as their playground, instead of the Channel and the Atlantic for the (faster and longer-range) Falcons.

- In the hangar, with the Rafale 20 & Etendard 1, 6, was also a Etendard without nosecone and one without tail. Maybe someone, could read this two?

- The Alphajet, which departed in the morning, was reported as E122. But this was in Dijon on Sunday as part of PdF! So, it must have been a other one in Landivisiau ...

- On Thursday (26.06), a EMB-121 Xingu, was seen overflying Landivisiau. Maybe someone read the reg.?

Which day are we talking about here? On Sunday 20 was in one of the "garage" boxes, 1 was on the static and 6 was on the flightline. Which hangar do you mean?
