Ben benieuwd hoe de luchthaven dit gaat faciliteren.... In BRU kraakt het ook al behoorlijk op de tijden dat de Jet airways vloot aanwezig is...

Kingfisher Hub?

Ziet er na uit dat Kingfisher AMS gaat gebruiken als hun Europees hub voor vluchten naar Noord Amerika.
Deze artikel in de India Times/Economic Times belooft veel, codeshares, enzo. Maar ik vraag me af hoe het zit met slots, en capaciteit op AMS voor Kingfisher.

Hebben die mannen van Kingfisher dan nog niet gehoord van de vliegtax? :roll:
Met alleen maar intercontinentale vluchten kan dat toch aardig duurdere tickets opleveren (hoewel niet voor overstappers...).

Anyway, eerst zien dan geloven, maar het biedt wel weer kansen voor A380s op SPL!

Vliegtax is absoluut niet aan de orde voor die mannen, ze transfereren alleen maar. Aantal locale pax zal minimaal zijn... Is ook het geval in BRU, merendeel pax , 80% ,is transfer!!!!

En nu is ook op Luchtvaartnieuws.nl te lezen dat Openskies vanaf 15/10 AMS met JFK zal verbinden..

Ik heb al kennis gemaakt met de nieuwe station-manager van Kingfisher, schijnt elk jaar rond 5 december ook een andere bijbaan te hebben ...

On October 26 of this year, airBaltic will begin direct flights from Riga to the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam.

British Airways - Open Skies:

BA will operate AMS-JFK 5x weekly this winter:

- BA 7021 AMS dep: 13:20 arr: 15:35 JFK B757-200 - Daily ex Tue & Sat
- BA 7022 JFK dep. 20:05 arr: 09:40 AMS B757-200 - Daily ex Tue & Sat

The aircraft will overnight 27 Hours in AMS every Tue and Sat.

For the first time Turkish Airlines will continue to operate IST-AMS-IST 3x/daily in winter 2008-2009, increasing frequency by 1x/daily. Surprisingly the timetable indicates different aircraft types on the outbound and return sectors.

- TK 1955 dep: 20:05 IST - arr: 22:50 AMS B737-800 daily
- TK 1956 dep: 23:50 AMS - arr: 04:20 IST A321 daily

Adria Airways plans to increase the frequency of LJU-AMS-LJU from six to 10x week this winter. Please note the double frequency on Monday morning, Wed & Thu:

- JP 498 dep: 07:15 LJU - arr: 09:15 AMS CRJ200 Mon, Tue, Fri
- JP 434 dep: 08:15 LJU - arr: 10:15 AMS CRJ200 Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat
- JP 498 dep: 18:20 LJU - arr: 20:20 AMS CRJ200 Wed, Thu, Sun

- JP 499 dep: 09:55 AMS - arr: 11:40 LJU CRJ200 Mon, Tue, Fri
- JP 435 dep: 10:55 AMS - arr: 12:40 LJU CRJ200 Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat
- JP 499 dep: 20:55 AMS - arr: 22:40 LJU CRJ200 Wed, Thu, Sun

KLM plans to make the following adjustments to its European operations in Winter 2008/2009:

- Aberdeen from 4x/daily increase to 5x/daily - new dep. 18.00 B737
- Bergen from 3x/daily increase to 4x/daily - new dep. 12.00 Fokker 100
- Glasgow from 4x/daily increase to 5x/daily - new dep. 07.20 Fokker 70
- St. Petersburg from 3x/weekly to 4x/weekly
- Trondheim - Fokker 70 replaced with Fokker 100 on all services.

KLM will NOT raise the frequency of AMS-SVO-AMS to 3x daily, but the route will remain at 2x daily SU and 2x daily KLM.
