Vueling will discontinue four routes in the Benelux during the wintertime
The discontinued routes will operate again from March 09 onwards
During the wintertime, Vueling will keep on operating the routes linking Amsterdam to Barcelona, and Brussels to Barcelona and Valencia
Barcelona, September 9th, 2008. - Vueling, the new-generation airline, will discontinue (for the wintertime only) four routes in the Benelux, three of them in Amsterdam and the remaining one in Brussels.
These cancellations are an effect of Vueling’s fleet-reduction programme which, as a part of its improvement plan, will take the company’s fleet size to 16 aircraft by year-end, down from 24 in December 2007.
As a consequence of this 33% reduction in capacity, Vueling is being forced to discontinue a series of routes, including the following ones in the Benelux:

The abovementioned routes will be fully reinstated to Vueling’s programme from March 29th, 2009, and will operate with normal schedules.
Besides, during the wintertime, Vueling will keep on operating the following three routes in the Benelux: Amsterdam to Barcelona, and Brussels to Barcelona and Valencia. Their timetables will be as follows:
