AFAIK "Tante Ju" will leave at Saterday 16.00 LT back to Germany (Cologne). (Eh, the flying one from Lufthansa Stiftung, I mean, not the one from Aviodrome)

Has anyone got any information about non-Dutch based aircraft participating in this event?
Well, apart from the Junkers JU-52 that is of course...

They say they invited all airworthy Dakotas around in Europe, but later they changed the name of the event. It is now a fly-in for aircraft from the period the Dakota was flying (whatever this post 1940 period is meant to be). It gives me a feeling a lot operators have denied the invitation and they are trying to get other types to present at least something to the public.

But it is a fly-in so normally not much info is available compared to airshows. That is the charm of such an event.

That was two fly-ins ago. BTW is it still in KLM colours? I thought I read somewhere it was repainted.

Anyone know anything about times? And is it on the museum terrain? I can't really find a lot of information.

July of this year it was still in KLM colours.

It's at the museum's territory (as all aviodrome organised fly-ins), during the museum opening times (so start at 10.00 and close at 17.00 local times). Normal museum entrance fees apply for this event.

With only three (or even two) days to go...

Anyone got the ETAs/Sunday ETDs of the "non-residents" ?

If I interpret the information available at

https://secure.aviodrome.nl/rondvluchten/shop/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

correctly the Junkers 52 will probably arrive this Friday at about 16.00-ish,

but no updates on the Hungarian Lisunov Li-2 HA-LIX, French Dakota, B-25 Mitchell, DHC-2 Beaver, Beech 18, i.e. "the static ones"...

Hello all,

Some times are now known.

According to the latest information the Lisunov is supposed to make a flight on both Saturday and Sunday.
She will arrive at Lelystad this Friday at 15.15 hrs if all goes as planned, leaving again on Wednesday (!) at 10.15 hrs.

On Saturday the Scandinavian Historical Flight A-26 Invader will also visit Lelystad :D , taking off again on Sunday. No times available for now.

Unfortunately the French DC-3 had to cancel because of technical problems. :(

As already mentioned the DC-6 G-APSA will not come. The "Six" is a very expensive beast to rent and pay fuel for unfortunately  , enough to break many a budget.
No wonder bookings for "Sierra Alpha" are at the moment disappointingly low with not a single appearance on the European mainland this year...

The DC-2 will take off this Saturday afternoon :D (Sunday as well? Couldn't get this confirmed), the Constellation is not so lucky this time. There will be engine-runs both days though!

At the moment certification problems originating in the USA (through no fault of the Aviodrome I should stress :!: ) is keeping the C-121 on the ground. The people in Lelystad are now negotiating with the FAA to get things right.
Doubters/moaners may find that at the moment ALL US-registered Constellations, both inside and outside of CONUS have the same problems certification -and licence-wise, this cannot be blamed to the Aviodrome... :!:

If anyone has more updates, please do not hesitate to add them!

And I hope not too many people will behave like "free-loaders" by not paying a ticket to visit the Aviodrome. These kinds of events are not cheap to organise and run and the money has to come from somewhere... :!:
