I will respond on the questions and point of view from Thijs, wijgert and patrick.
These slide scans depends on several factors, but didn't need state of the art equipment...
Most of my shots are taken with an Analog EOS 650 and EOS 5 (okay EOS-5 was state of the art at that time ) and the lens i used was just a Simga 70-300 4.5/5.6 apo lens and a small kitlens.
But the film i used was 90% of the time Fuji velvia 50 and the final years with analog film Fuji Sensia100, wich gave me razor sharp pictures and vivid colors.
Also the smaller size of scans i droped here in the topic looks like more sharp then the original. But i will drop a bigger sized scan to show what kind of quality my 150,- euro scanner can do. So this Canoscan 8800F is also not state of the art but gives pretty good results for the money.
Finialy there is some noise ninja and CS-3 required to get these results.

BTW nice start with all these scans already dropped in this topic.

QF-106 Target Drones at Tyndall AFB... to sad they are shot down :-(

nice background :-)
Image

QF-106B still in orignal colors ( chase plane at that time )
Image

right one never came back :-( :-( :-(
but impressive to hear a F-106 burner ( big bang ) at take-off with no pilot.
Image

This one was the chase for the picture above. So two F-106's airborne... one with pilot and one without :-(
