Hopefully someone will join this event and post his log so we all know which F-16's are based at which base.
Have a nice day tomorrow and enjoy the lovely sight of these nice fighters.

Hello again! Got news on three events for you this time:

Sleegertje - thanks for your interest in this topic! But unfortunatedly I wasn't able to be there (been at work at the time... :().
Nevertheless what I may give all of you are:
- a link to some photos taken by a colleague at the ceremony
- a list of F-16s assigned to 32nd Air Base in Lask: tactical numbers: F-16C: 4040, 4064-4075 and F-16D: 4085-4087 = 16 Vipers in total.
- a list of F-16s that actually arrived on 3 Oct to EPLK: tactical numbers: F-16C: 4064-4069, F-16D: 4085 & 4086 and, as an exception, 4060 (assigned to EPKS) instead of 4087 = 9 Vipers in total

Hermolaus wrote:Another movement is planned a week later, i. e. on 10 Oct 2008.
Herd of another amount of F-16s (as a part of the movement) is planned to depart today from EPKS to EPLK.

Hermolaus wrote:Also heard of 4 F-16s, assigned to EPKS, which are to fly to Denmark on 6 Oct 2008 for some exercise.
There is a short article on this at the F-16.net:
F-16.net wrote:October 4, 2008 (by Asif Shamim) - Four Polish Air Force F-16s are due to fly to Denmark on Monday 6th October for their first foreign Squadron Exchange exercise.
Six of the most experienced Polish pilots will take two F-16C and two F-16Ds and train with there Danish counterparts.
The training is prelude to the PolAF participation for TLP training next year in Belgium.
So this is going to be a Squadron Exchange exercise. The 4 F-16s are to depart today from EPLK, but got no info on the time... So - be aware! ;)

A few words from me:
[1] The 4 F-16s going to Denmark for squadron exchange departed from EPKS. I wrote of departing from EPLK but it was my mistake - sorry...
Their destination is most probably EKSP - aerodrome of Skrydstrup, near Vojens, although I do not have this info confirmed. The info comes from SIS-Summary 406 editor (who accidentally made a spelling mistake and wrote "Skydstrup" instead of "Skrydstrup")

Letadloaero - thanks for your contribution here! I understand you ment yesterday of course ;) (Did you were at Lask?) I indeed heard next part of movement took place yesterday (6 Oct), but didn't have the number confirmed. Heard of 11-12 machines.

[3] I also got info on another part of movement, namely of 4 ships to arrive to EPLK from EPKS today. We'll see...

AUP TSA 02,06,09.
Yep! Seems like they are just starting their regular training in Lask today. Hurray! ;)
According to AUP there are two periods of reservation: 07:20-09:00Z & 11:20-13:20Z. Hope to have some info for you on that later today...

PS.

Seems logical as this is the only F-16 field in Denmark

I must inform you that the 4 F-16s that were on squadron exchange in EKSP in Denmark have already came back to Poland, namely to EPLK, on 12 October 2008 (Sunday), at about 1000Z.
On they way back they flew over EPGD and EPKS (as some fellow spotters report).

You're welcome! Let's hope some Polish Vipers make their way to the annual Danish AF open days as a result of this exchange. ;-)
