Sleegertje - thanks for your interest in this topic! But unfortunatedly I wasn't able to be there (been at work at the time... ).Sleegertje wrote:Hopefully someone will join this event and post his log so we all know which F-16's are based at which base.
Herd of another amount of F-16s (as a part of the movement) is planned to depart today from EPKS to EPLK.Hermolaus wrote:Another movement is planned a week later, i. e. on 10 Oct 2008.
There is a short article on this at the F-16.net:Hermolaus wrote:Also heard of 4 F-16s, assigned to EPKS, which are to fly to Denmark on 6 Oct 2008 for some exercise.
So this is going to be a Squadron Exchange exercise. The 4 F-16s are to depart today from EPLK, but got no info on the time... So - be aware!F-16.net wrote:October 4, 2008 (by Asif Shamim) - Four Polish Air Force F-16s are due to fly to Denmark on Monday 6th October for their first foreign Squadron Exchange exercise.
Six of the most experienced Polish pilots will take two F-16C and two F-16Ds and train with there Danish counterparts.
The training is prelude to the PolAF participation for TLP training next year in Belgium.
Letadloaero - thanks for your contribution here! I understand you ment yesterday of course (Did you were at Lask?) I indeed heard next part of movement took place yesterday (6 Oct), but didn't have the number confirmed. Heard of 11-12 machines.letadloaero wrote:On 6 Oct 2008 (tomorrow)landed 10 F-16 to EPLK.
Yep! Seems like they are just starting their regular training in Lask today. Hurray!letadloaero wrote:On 7 Oct 2008(today) training start F-16 from EPLK.
AUP TSA 02,06,09.
You welcome! - it's all my pleasure, Rene. Best regards!Sleegertje wrote:Many thanks for clearing up which F-16 will be based where.
Seems logical as this is the only F-16 field in DenmarkHermolaus wrote:A few words from me:
[1] The 4 F-16s going to Denmark for squadron exchange departed from EPKS. I wrote of departing from EPLK but it was my mistake - sorry...
Their destination is most probably EKSP - aerodrome of Skrydstrup, near Vojens, although I do not have this info confirmed. The info comes from SIS-Summary 406 editor (who accidentally made a spelling mistake and wrote "Skydstrup" instead of "Skrydstrup")
Of course you're right, Nilsko - thank you for this prompt! I must admit I'm not very familiar with Danish aviaton, and I didn't checked that... But hey, what is such a good forum for?nilsko wrote:Seems logical as this is the only F-16 field in Denmark
Once again thanks for contribution, Letadloaero! Can you hear them directly from Opava?letadloaero wrote:On 7 Oct 2008 F-16 (callsign Honest 1,2,3 , Cowboy 01) fly away from EPKS. F-16 trained in TSA 06 about 40 minute and F-16 landed EPLK after.
I know exactly where did you take these NOTAMs from! They come from this forum, aren't they? I know the forum very well...letadloaero wrote:NoTAm close airport: [...]
