Afternoon Dave,

I would have to be very sure of my source before claiming that one and would prefer photo evidence which is as likely as ever clearing a Czech base. The fact that it appeared complete whereas I believe the other two are dismantled also has a bearing.

There are apparently two PF models - thinner fin cross-section but with thicker spine for about 8 ft - that have not been seen for many years. They are 1305 and 1309 I believe. I presume this one had the forward hinging single piece canopy? All four known F-13 models were visible between gate guard, Hall C and two on taxiway. Unless another F-13 has arrived - with Kbely it is anyone's guess as visits to storage area are few and far between. I was twice told by the Museum formally before going out that storage area visits are just not entertained.

Not sure I am not pleased I missed that one as it would just have added to the frustration that is Czech storage areas.

Regards
Rick

Hi,

An unexpected visit on Sunday June 21st at the Kbely museum again with some friends did reveal the folowing (new) items:

Soko 522 23500/123 moved from its spot behind the outside display/in front of the wooden shed to a place on the airfield behind Hall C
and Mi-8PS 0830 moved from aprox the same spot to a place inbetween the Draken and Viggen at the outside display.
This all, in my opinion, to move something out of the wooden shed.
This could have been Belgian Meteor F.8 EG247/SV-D that is now on display in Hall B with the T-33, Vampire, Me262A and Yak-17.

To my supprise it was possible to walk in front of the storage compound on the right after entering the museum to the new Hall "1939-1945". Inside were:
MS.230 1077 Adl'A
La-7 45210860/77white, V-VS c/s, ex SU-60 Czech AF
Li-2F 23443002/7, V-VS c/s, ex 3002 Czech AF
Tiger Moth "R5148/35", realy PG627
AT-16ND FT422, ex KLu B-67
Il-2M3 12438/38white, V-VS
CSS-13 SP-BHA
Me.262B-1a/CS-92 (V-35)/A, Luftwaffe c/s

Due to the opening of this new hall and the walkway to it, it was possible to read off all but one aircraft stored in the compound:
MiG-15bis 3941
MiG-15SB 1186
MiG-15SB 1713
MiG-15UTI 2744/OK-10
MiG-19P (0742)
MiG-19S 1006
MiG-21UM 3181
MiG-21U-600 2820 (..20 read)
Mi-4A 2143
Mi-4 0751
Mi-8T 1232
L-29 0003
L-39V 0725
L-39V 0740
L-39V 3908
L-39C 33 white (330207) V-VS
Su-7BKL 5919
Su-7BKL 6428
Su-7UM 1017
XL-410 OK-176/OK-20

Cheers,
Perry
