Here's what I managed to note between km 0 and 172...
21-7:
Elst:
Alouette III A-247 overhead
Slijk-Ewijk:
Buzzed by no less than five Fokker S-11's! E-39 positively identified, the other four believed to be the remaining asset of the Fokker Four team: E-14, E-27, E-29 and 179/K
Oosterhout:
Alouette III A-247 flew from the military rest area
Chinook, cougar, ph-hhc
22-7:
Beuningen:
Alouette III A-275 overhead
23-7:
Nothing noted, apart from flying handkerchief PH-9J6, probably due to the appalling weather down the route...
24-7:
Cuijk:
Alouette III A-301 flew from the military rest area
E-3A LX-N90458 (not read by myself) flew low overhead twice rather spectacular, nice!
Malden:
Chinook, with cargo door open and someone was waving with a big hand to the walkers. It flew very low over the "Via Gladiola"
Nijmegen:
One of the overhead banner towing aircraft was L-18C PH-LRM, former belgian L57
Cheers,
Marco
