Air Lithuanica has released a new summer 2013 timetable, which indicates that the airline plans to launch its 2nd daily VNO-AMS-VNO service on 15 September 2013 in cooperation with Estonian Air:
- dep. VNO 06:25 - arr. AMS 07:50 OV5011 non-stop Air Lithuanica/Estonian Air 2h 25min. E75 daily
- dep. VNO 18:05 - arr. AMS 19:30 OV5015 non-stop Air Lithuanica/Estonian Air 2h 25min. E75 daily - from 15 Sept.
- dep. AMS 10:00 - arr. VNO 13:10 OV5012 non-stop Air Lithuanica/Estonian Air 2h 10min. E75 daily
- dep. AMS 20:30 - arr. VNO 23:40 OV5016 non-stop Air Lithuanica/Estonian Air 2h 10min. E75 daily - from 15 Sept.
Het valt me op dat TACV deze maanden, naast de normale donderdagvluchten, ook op zaterdag komt. (Zomercharters, neem ik aan?)
Weet iemand misschien hoe lang deze zaterdagvluchten blijven?

Gewoon het zomerschema. Aankomende zaterdag is de laatste zaterdagtvlucht.
Following ETIHAD CARGO earlier this year, it seems QATAR Cargo has now also added NBO-AMS:
AMS arrivals 14 Sept. 2013
- arr. 06:50 Nairobi QR 6581 Qatar Airways B777F A7-BFA
- arr. 12:30 Doha QR 6257 Qatar Airways A332F A7-AFZ
- arr. 18:15 Doha QR 6059 Qatar Airways B777F A7-BFB
QR Cargo's regular freighter schedule is 7x/weekly flights DOH-AMS-DOH (of which 2x to ORD).
The QRC schedules do not indicate a regular NBO-AMS freighter.
So perhaps this was a one-off charter.
Anyone with more info?

QR6581 is the flightnumber for JNB-NBO-LGG, moreover according to the slot alloacation list this is a one-off. Why it went to AMS is a mystery..

Well it was planned originally for AMS, but as the bilateral between NL and Qatar was full flights were diverted to LGG. Could be this is solved now and operating from now on to AMS.
