Poland will arm 64 fifth generation fighters

Polish Defense Ministry intends to buy 64 fifth-generation fighter, delivery of the first of which will take place in 2021. According to Altair, plans to buy new aircraft contained in the program of technical modernization of the Polish armed forces. Earlier, the Ministry of Defence of Poland announced its intention to keep the Air Force fighter-bombers Su-22. Lifetime of combat aircraft may be extended for a period of three to ten years; concrete decision will be taken in March 2014. It was reported that if the period of extension service aircraft be ten years, it would mean that Poland intends to save up for the purchase of new aircraft.
