Changed the title from 'Lisbon' to Portugal, because the extreme north east of the country cannot possibly be named Lisbon anymore... anyway, to keep it together.
Last week, June 10 to 12, I gave the airshow at Leon a go. After some searching for options to travel there I found the best one from Lisbon was actually to take a domestic flight from Cascais to Bragança and rent a car from there for the last 200km or so. The flight is a very nice one. Flown by SevenAir (or Aerovip) on a Dornier 228. It makes a Bragança - Vila Real - Viseu - Cascais - Portimão v.v. twice daily. So in my case, I got extra stops at Viseu (G.91) and Vila Real (G.91) before arriving at Bragança (T-33). That's three new wrecks and relics. Although for Viseu I had to wait for the return flight, because on the way to Bragança there were no passengers to drop off or pick up in Viseu, so no stop
Anyway, here are the pics:
G.91 at Viseu, taken from the plane as the stop is really only to pick up or drop of passengers, you can't get out.
G.91 at Vila Real, showing its former German identity as well.
And the
T-33 at Bragança, obviously here I had a bit better opportunities.
