According to an overview posted in the MAR.
That is how they showed on ADSB too, with FY12.

This time a new location will be used for embarkation in Rotterdam. It will happen in Waalhaven, near Hellouwstraat. 8)

Good luck.

Waalhaven? OK, that's quite a surprise.

Thx Ecm for the heads up!

With the last rotation only the rolling vehicles and containers were loaded from this location.

If this is the case then with an approach from the East, Waalhaven Noordzijde (51.897404, 4.440059) should give the best photo location on the landing heli's?

By the way the vessel Endurance, which was used in the last rotations, is still at the USEC.

Surprising indeed. Looking at googlemaps i noticed they have little up to no warehouses on that location. During the previous rotations the choppers were dismantled and stored inside the warehouse until the Endurance arrived. Could it indeed be a mistake, and for rolling stuff only?
Keyx, the Endurance will first bring the 101st CAB to France and Greece, i expect they will pick up the 3rd CAB afterwards. That's why i think they need more warehousing space.

Pieter,
Thx Pieter for the Endurance update! Your reasoning one the locations in the Port of Rotterdam is logical, I guess we will know with the first flight from Eindhoven.

My need a storage inside? US Army didn't use that last years in Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge, Baltics and several USA sites...

I don't doubt my source

Good luck.
So it will be MRS (Mainport Reefer Services) terminal? If so, it seems likely no indoor storage facitities this time?

Hi,

This port location has been used by Uniport (container terminal) which ceased operations earlier this year. So there should be space available. Helicopter operations are expected between June 30th and July 27th (at the address Zaltbommelweg 10, which is/was the office location of Uniport) . This could turn out to be a much more accessible location (i.e. much more visible) than the one used during the previous operations. Brings back memories of standing at the Eendracht Roeiers location at the Streefwaalseweg to observe the US Army helicopter ops in the Eemhaven (address Spekenburgweg) in 80's.

We will find out.

12-20455 flies as Raven11 north from Nürnberg, hedding Illisheim!

The planning as of now is that the first should arrive at Eindhoven this Friday (June 26th), followed on Monday and so on the week after. Subject to change!
