Bet taken. I won! Airpowerdemo will be 45 minutes according to the show's website.

PC-7 demo
Another example of not having the facts together. The Dutch PC-7 solodisplay team was disbanded a couple of years ago due to various reasons. Rumors say that the PC-7 Solo Display Team will be re-established next year, so maybe you have better luck then.

No offence but I think you missed some information the past 2-3 years.. There is not a single country in Europe that displays the Mirage 2000, Tornado or Harrier anymore. All gone! The only country that still displays the MiG-29 (Poland) is coming to Volkel. Rafale should have been possible, maybe next year..

Dream on..... Not as long as BAD uses the same weekend for Luchmachtdagen as GIFAS does for the Salon at LBG.

I was pretty convinced there was a Mirage-2000 displaying at Leeuwarden last year

I think his point is these displays all disappeared over the last few years, with the Mirage being the most recent one, being replaced on the circuit by the Rafale. You can still see Tornado or Harrier displays though with a little luck (Italy for instance, or Spain, but these don't tend to travel abroad)

I`m so happy i got to see the IAT 89, 91, 96..

Right now it doesnt look like its worth spending a lot of cash on (mainly due to the FRIAT package price tho)

Last year(s) I heard some people complaining about lack of jetpower and single-fighter displays. May I cheer to jb5 and obviously all the other people that worked together to get this line-up! Maybe not the most exotic planes coming, but I expect a lot of nice afterburner-pics from people with the big lenses 8) If the nice weather shows up that is.

You missed out '93 and '94?

I'm going to RIAT this year, but the main reason is being on a trip with friends. I have to say that last year's line-up was pretty good! (but this year we'll have a poor one)

Don't know if its posted already, but looks like the B-25 can't make it to Volkel. She is still in the Docks on Gilze Rijen getting an Engine replaced. As could be seen on Pics taken during the Base Visit yesterday at Gilze.
