Eta based on planning or flightplan?

I heard from atc, an eta of much later (between 1600 and 1700).....

Polish and slovak Migs mid-day.

And yes a shame that there are so many cancellations.

ETA based on its flightplan from yesterday evening with callsign "SEYTAN" makes them 112 filo machines

Another point, a very very disappointing point, is that we received no less than 75 cancellations the last days!!!!

Is that where we did it all for? We heard to most stupid and original exuses I really have no words for those people, I really haven't.

Almost 15% cancellations, probably mainly due to the weather forecast.

It says something about the mentality of some people. Sad, very sad.

But Gijs and your GRAS airshow team be sure the majority appreciates your efforts very much !!!

Don't worry! I will personally make sure those people will be banned for any future event!!!

You should not judge to early. Although I did not even register for the spottersday (as I thought the chances where to small ...), I can imagine SOME of those people might have UNDERSTANDABLE reasons (e.g. illness)?
Regarding the others, maybe the fact that a lot of aircraft already arrived yesterday (I was there hoping just for the airpower and the few announced arrivals and was surprised by the number of arrrivals) also made people think of cancelling.
Not to forget cancellations of aircraft. So if air men are allowed to cancell due to any reason, why should spotters not be allowed?

By the way: log from today so far: 07:45 until 08.10 NIL movements, west wind, approach lights switched on on the good sight:
Wx: broken clouds (7/8), no sun, clear air, denser clouds approaching from the North, light to moderate wind, feeling cool.

Why should spotters not be allowed??? Richard please re-think your comment, 75 people canceling is such a bloody shame! I do hope this will be looked into and people will be banned from future events!
