For starters, you could first inform about the possible reason these photos are soft and maybe offer some advice on how to improve them. Instead, all you basically say is ''they suck''. It doesn't take a whole lot of knowledge to say that. It takes knowledge however, to offer some help.
Answers will be questioned.....

Yes she could have done that. But then again, the original posters could have asked for advice too, instead of posting a whole bunch of unsharp pics without any self-reflective comment about quality. If someone posts pictures without questions I gotta assume those pics are there for enjoyment of the viewers. If any viewer does not enjoy what he/she is viewing IMO he or she has the full right to express that feeling.

In general I agree with previous posters that tips on how to improve may work better then just telling the pics suck. But in the past I have advised people to buy glasses and I think I even told someone to switch on autofocus, but those tips weren't appreciated either  . Some people just want to hear their pics are great, even if they aren't and this just doesn't seem like the place anymore to come for that.

Personally I like it a lot better the way it is now, then the way it was some time ago when no negative comment was allowed (by fellow posters, moderators never complained).

Where are you pictures. You don't post pictures on scramble.
Stop with this discussion.
Sorry to say, but there are pics I have posted, it's only a while back and the site where they are on, is down.

I don't know how to say it in a less "direct" way, sharp or not sharp.

Discussion is where a forum is about, that is the reason they excist.

And please, don't go and send a PM like you did, it is a very sad thing to do and you don't have to lower yourself to that.

grtz,
Margreet

PS. if you really want to see my pics, I can always send it to you in a email...

Yes, I think "they suck" but IMHO I thought it is very rude to say it like that, I tried to put it in a nicer way than that 8)

Be friendly to everybody!

If you like the pictures enjoy it.
If you don't like it, click to an other topic!

very regular the comments in a topic are far away from friendly communications!

I think we share the same passion, respect for everybody!
