Gents,
I'm a bit confused about why everyone seems to be in a state of shock about an aircraft being discovered as having a different c/n to that in "the books". It happens all the time in the "rarer" countries, and sometimes in the more common ones (I well remember the Italian 707s being changed after someone bothered to check one of them). It just proves that if you get a chance to check a c/n, then do so.
Oh, and by the way, CN-AZH is c/n 1687, not as in "the books".

Hello Andy,
Thanks for the comment, I agree, nothing is 4 sure until its really checked. I also have to admit not checking c/n's to much on the regular events but to which c/n discussion in this topic are you reffering? Or was this comment for another forum

Is there anyone who can help with the id's of the Preserved aircraft, Andy?

Mark,
Sadly, apart from the C-119 (53-7862) and a MiG-17 (c/n 1407040 and therefore 01), no identities are known for the preserved stuff. The fact that all of them carry false schemes does not help.

Reason:corr. type CN-HDS, code for CN-ARM & -ARY, changed MiG-17 to MiG-15UTI, s/n for white T-6 @ club, s/n for T-6 near tech school, c/n for T-6 on dump, corr BN-2T, additions from Frank M
Interestingly, as pointed out to me on another forum, CM.170 226 is also given as preserved Le Havre, and 230 as to the Danish civil register as OY-FGA. The Scrambe database also gives those destinations. The stored Fouga's here have been read off this year and two years ago however, so what is going on here??

Full c/n's are D226 and D230 (build by Union Süd), being ex Luftwaffe. Some 25 were exported from Germany to Morocco.
Was the gendarmerie BN2T parked on static? I do not recall that. Was it grey with a red cheatline or something? I remember one like that on the flightline the 26th starting with CN-B but perhaps its the CN-TWR that I tried to remeber as BTW (monkeybridge) .
In full it is a Beechcraft model B300C "King Air 350C" (or "Super King Air 350C"); B300C is the official designation, with "King Air 350" being the commercial/marketing name.
Main external difference between the Be300.. "King Air 300" and BeB300.. "King Air 350" variants is the winglets carried by the latter (although there have been conversions on original King Air 300's).
