Just for your info: reason for today's cancellation was the sea state which means that the waves were too high. Missions for today were planned to take place above the sea and possible bail-outs take along too much risks for the pilots.

Hi,

Already mentioned in the Helispot -topic but one of the two HH-3F's crashed on their way to TLP today:

Very sad news that all the 8 people on board were killed...

Hi maurits,

So it was a HH-3F on its way to Florennes.
That was my first thought when I heard about an Italian Army helicopter crash. Very sad news indeed!

Hi YOXA,

Did you have a look a the Florennes site? http://www.florennes-as.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I was at Florennes on tuesday 14 october :D and I noted the following Ala 46 Hornets:
C.15-46/12-04 EF-18A
C.15-68/12-26 EF-18A
C.15-72/12-30 EF-18A

C.15-73/46-01 F/A-18A
C.15-79/46-07 F/A-18A
C.15-84/46-12 F/A-18A
C.15-87/46-15 F/A-18A

In the logs after 14 october the 46-15 hasn't been mentioned anymore (if I looked correctly). :roll:
C.15-92/46-20: This hornet was noted for the first time on 20 october. Maybe it replaced the 46-15?
As you see I'm not sure either but it is strange that 46-15 hasn't been mentioned anymore.

Credit for the info ofcourse http://www.florennes-as.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Hopefully it helps (a bit) and it's doesn't make it more confused :roll:
