Another Su-34 down (tweet mentions Su-25, but in one of the comments it is proven to be a Su-34). At least one of the pilots was killed.

And also a Hip (not another Hind as mentioned earlier):

So that already makes at least a Hind, a Hip, 2x Su-34 and one Su-30 and possibly another (based on the video of the pilots).

Possibly one extra Hind (but could be a double count) and another unknown jet, the latter at Ochakiv.

Looking at what remains of the tail boom, I'd rather say Mi-171Sh.

The burned wreckage besides the Mi-24 picture looks more like a Mi-8AMTSh. Look at the tailboom. Serial begins with RF-91...

I wholeheartedly agree, doesn't look like a Hind. Changed the post above to reflect that and I will try to to check a bit better next time...

The crew of the Russian Su-30 ejected and then tried to escape wearing bright orange flightsuits! What are they thinking; they are on a trainingflight?

They are navy pilots and they wear survival suits. They probably calculate their risks and probabilities which are having to eject over land or over the sea.

The lack of any trees (there are quite a few in the first crash) and the lack of fire damage (whereas the first one goes down in a ball of fire) makes me think that there were two Mi-24/Mi-35s lost today.

Hello Coati.

I am still certain that the Russian Air Forces in area have at least 40 squadrons (combat aircraft) . I have also seen that squadrons from other units have transfer to the combat area. On crashed aircraft are markings from other units also.

It became interesting then Earth Google update their satellite maps and we can see the history of different air bases, even on other parts of Russia.
