Not really. If last week is anything to go by, they start flying before 09.00 and keep flying till late afternoon or later when necessary. They don't really fly in recognisable waves either. The C-130's tend to fly as single ships or pairs to a lot of different destinations. Sometimes, they are away for just a few hours, and sometimes they leave early morning and don't return till late afternoon. On occasion, they do a formation with one or more A400's and the Romanian C-27. Also, the A400's come and go as per their own planning; that does not necessarily have anything to do with Air Defender, they also fly regular transport missions for the Bundeswehr or EATC.
Very intersting, thanks for logging these. Is the Sycamore inside? Unfortunately the museum was closed when we were there, but I noticed some of the (outside) inmates had moved since I was last here. Didn't see the An-2 nose.l8rmt wrote: ↑20 Jun 2023, 21:02 Popped into the JU52 Museum on Sunday and amongst the usual inmates were an unmarked SG3 glider hanging from ceiling (ex mil ?) an unmarked AN2 Cockpit attached to outside back wall and a Sycamore painted as LB+105 so assume the one from Arhlhorn, Any clues to the other two unknowns much appreciated
