1Terminal area

With a lack of good spots around the runway, the terminal area is the best place to see and photograph aircraft at Sønderborg. On the right hand side of the terminal and at the back of the main hangar you can get close to the action and even graph aircraft taxiing on the runway and on the connecting taxiway. Photography is best in the end of the afternoon.

2Approach 32 - west side

The only other option known gives distant views of the southern approach. From the terminal area, head back to the town of Sønderborg. After a few hundred meters you will have to find yourself a parking spot along the road and try your best. As with spot 1, photography is best later in the afternoon. About 300 mm will do from here for larger aircraft.
