The Spitfire cockpit used as flightsim was part of the original plastic Spitfire at 322 sqn.
Our original Spitfire was damaged by heavy storms 1 a 2 years ago.
It is now replaced by a new plastic Spitfire painted as 3W-P
Yep. correct. In use as dedicated weapons trainer. In the good old days this task was sheared between the F-16 fleet for each a few months of weapons training dutie. But since arms reduction version xxx of a few years ago J-877 was chosen as dedicated F-16 weapons trainer.

Last time I saw it at Budel in November 2013 it was nothing more then scrap metal to me, after years in the open, in all elements.
