Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

This is very interesting info Erwin! I already wondered why they stuck to the roads, causing these in these ridiculous traffic jams. Even the tanks, but if their supply troops cannot follow them, they also need to stick to main roads.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

Apparently today another Russian Su-30 bit the dust according to Livemap. (edit: already noted by Erwin)
Plus an attack of 2 Ukrainian Su-24 on Russian ground troops was filmed.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

Interesting article about the underperformance of the Russian Air force. According to the article, the Russians only use about 75+ aircraft and "The Russians are discovering that coordinating multi-domain operations is not easy," "And that they are not as good as they presumed they we...

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

Ukraine claims 5 jets and one chopper shot down yesterday (28-2). New footage shows 8 Russian choppers approaching over water, one is hit and crashes in the water, the others start to shoot flares. Video claims 2 helos shot down, but I see one (maybe the first one is already splashed when the footag...

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

We have seen self propelled guns, T-72/90 tanks, APC, MLRS, BUK, Pantsir, warships, basically the full VVS arsenal except strategic bombers. Definitely not scouts but a full army. They will of course send in more, but the initial force was nothing like a scout force.

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

Totally agree, Erwin! I tried to be cautious, but see what is unfolding like you do. A telling tale is the staggering losses in Russian supply trucks, air defence units and even artillery vehicles. These should be well protected in the rearguard. Losing those is a big red flag. Apparently Russia is ...

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022

Footage showed up today of a shot down and completely wrecked/burned Russian Mi-35 at Kherson Oblast. My take on the whole operation so far: - Russia tried to make a lightning strike by taking out C&C and Air Force and Air defence at day one, and seizing the (supposedly) undefended Antonov Airpo...

Re: Conflict in Ukraine: military movements

This is already a big push. See it as the usual disorganized and incompetent way the Russians are organized. The fact they are running out of supplies and are losing so much supporting vehicles are telling tales. I think the story Mil thought they were on an exercise is propaganda. This is not how m...

I have no available information, but I would not bet on it. I guess you will see all participating aircraft leave that day.
