I just drooled all over my keyboard.....I guess the number of flights wasn't as high as nowadays, but what a variety....especially the British seem to have had so many great and yet rather unknown types: Argosies, Heralds, Viscounts, Vanguards, Ambassadors, Vikings, Tridents...

Although I am still young and so wasn't a spotter that good days it seems it were VERY interesting days at Schiphol. Great airliners and beautiful airliners!!! I wouldn't mind if you post some more :P In that days, all those very interesting planes were just as common as the nowadays 73,4,5,6 and 7...
