Re: EHTW 17-09-2024

That's a pity Tim but hope you got at least some shots. Any insights on the timings of tomorrow's Falcon leap schedule? I may pass by tomorrow afternoon.
cheers

Re: London Heathrow airport (EGLL/LHR) 2024 CIV

Hi All, After the excellent RIAT show we decided to stay at the Courtyard hotel at Heathrow for the last night. The (expensive) rooms ‘with airport view’ are completely useless for a spotter (the Renaissance hotel is better for those who want to spot from their room) but the outside terrace at the C...

Re: Riga/Latvia 2024

There is a storage area with 16 jets (CRJs, Challengers, Global, 125s) between some hangars on the west side of Riga airport and is surrounded on 3 sides by forest but is visible from the terminal. I was able to ID 10 of them but 6 others remain unknown due the way they are parked (tried multiple an...

Riga/Latvia 2024

Hi All, During my vacation in Latvia I spotted a couple of times at Riga airport. Starting off with the excellent Riga aviation museum which is now west of the airport near the spotters hill. I understand the museum was in the past near the terminal on the east side. There is no clear museum sign bu...

Re: Augsburg 2024

My first visit to Augsburg airport. Lots of small bizjets which are in town for maintenance and presume some are stored like the Ruski. There are various hangars packed with mainly props and the odd biz but I could not read off many. I don't collect single props so those were not jotted down. All in...

Re: Paris-Le Bourget 2024

Hi Anton, It is a shame to hear about the fences going up. Not been there for quite a few years, but the AC Hotel half way along the avenue has a rooftop terrace which, so long as you were eating there, used be accessible to non-residents (I presume this is still the case) and has views across some...

Paris-Le Bourget 2024

Hi All, I made a brief stop at LBG and walked from the museum along the Avenue de l"Europe all the way to the roundabout near Campanile. It has been a few years since I had been here but was so disappointed that almost all the nooks and crannies along the road (except 1) have been blocked by fe...

Thanks Andrews for the Asky reg, much appreciated! Glad you liked the pix.
