Did not find any topics open, so I am starting this one. Feel free to move or remove if appropriate. So I went all the way from Taiwan to England for the RIAT this year. And, as all know already, this year was the first cancellation in 38 editions of the show. Lucky me. Or is it? Duxford Flying Lege...

Are the display schedules different on Saturday and Sunday? Thinking about going to Duxford's Flying Legends on Saturday and to RIAT on Sunday...

Is this a stupid idea for any reason? Or should it be doable?

Saturday and Sunday there is a busservice running from Swindon busstation. The last three years they were selling admission tickets there too for advance prices. For accomodation, try http://www.centrepoints.co.uk . They helped me the last three times with accomodation. I think they have year-round...

So, basically Swindon is a good place to look for a B&B, and there is a bus service to take local people to the airport on show days?
I wonder if it is possible to try and find housing on Friday, as opposed to making a reservation...
